Before your visit
It’s important to know how to be best prepared for your dentures.
Patient History:
When you arrive, you will be asked to complete a Patient History form so that important medical and dental health information will be available for the Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) and their staff. This will assist the CDT in evaluating an appropriate course of treatment for you.
IMPORTANT: If you are taking prescription medications, please bring a list of those medications with you.
Impressions for Dentures:
Denture impressions are usually taken and sent to the lab. The lab can then immediately begin fabricating your dentures so that they will be ready for you as soon as possible (Same-day service for repairs and relines that have been booked only.)
Delivery of Dentures:
The staff will indicate when you should return to receive your denture. If you experience any difficulties with your denture, please inform the staff so they can make recommendations about follow-up care. We’re here to help!
The process usually takes up to 5 Visits (approx 2 weeks start to finish).
This will include:
Primary visit: Consultation (free of charge, no obligations)
Secondary visit: Impressions, more accurate techniques applied
Bite Block: Check bite range
Try-in: Trial fit of mock up
Fitting
